NOTE IMPORTANT DATES EXTENDED DAY:

August 12 - June 4 (each day school is in session unless canceled due to inclement weather, etc.)

FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS ENTERING RIVER OAKS ELEMENTARY AND REGISTERING FOR ROE RN:

You are allowed to register ONLY as a guest.  The system will NOT allow you to create an account.  Thus, simply select your items, add them to the cart, and follow the prompts.  If you have any questions, contact School Pay via the help icon found on the top right.  Thank you. 

NOTE:  School Pay sends you an email confirming your transactions.  The email serves as your proof of registration/purchases.  When you do receive your email confirming your purchase, please forward the email to:  [email protected].  Upon forwarding the email, please include the name of your child and their grade.  Thank you.

NOTE Below: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no waitlists. For all who registered last year, you must begin with a $0 balance. If you need your statement, please email us at [email protected]

1.  You are required to purchase on a month-to-month basis by the due dates listed below.  School Pay will open for the purchase of each month on the important dates listed below (please scroll).

2. Upon your initial Registration, you have secured your spot for the school year 2025-2026 (August–June).

3. Required, at the time of your initial registration, there is a one-time registration fee of $15.00 by July 25th and $25.00 after. 

4. Required, there is a $50 Supply Fee assessed per semester (one for Fall and one for Spring).  Supplies are purchased for group leaders to support their daily planned activities.

REQUIRED River Oaks Elementary Roadrunner's Nest Registration Form and Agreement.

1. Pick-up: Full Time Plus is 6:30 p.m., Full Time is 6:00 p.m., and Half Time is 5:15 p.m. (please pick up on time). Pick-up location is on the circle drive located on the San Felipe parking lot. Required: present your official ID and your school car tag.

2. If you wish to withdraw at any time, you must request, in writing via email to [email protected], to be withdrawn from the program.  You will not be charged for the following month from the date you withdraw from any component in extended day. Withdrawing before the last day of any month will not include prorations nor refunds.

3. Roadrunner's Nest operates ONLY on school days, please refer to the HISD Calendar. The daily schedule is as follows: Snack Time, Homework Supervision, Indoor/Outdoor Enriching Activities.

4.  Registration for both Extended Day and Enrichment classes will begin July 1st at midnight.  Registration for Enrichment will close on August 22nd at midnight. Registration for Extended Day will close on July 25th at midnight.

5. All staff are employed by HISD and are trained to adhere to HISD Guidelines, including safety.  In addition, HISD Approved Vendors hire instructors, and all are HISD Background Checked

6. Regarding snacks, let's be mindful of the long days the children have in the classroom. Snacks are a big deal at the end of the school day! Please pack snacks for your children on a daily basis. Also note, children are to NEVER share their snacks.  

7.  Regarding Occasional Units - These are sold in increments of 5 Units for ALL grade levels (K-5th) and are set up for those who need Extended Day Services, an average of 1 - 2 days per week. If purchasing OCC units, please note that if your child does not attend within 45 days of purchase, your spot will be forfeited.

 When you purchase any amount of Occ Units, note that a unit is "used" each time you request your child to report to RN.  When you have used all units, it is your responsibility to purchase additional sets.  When your child reports to RN and no units remain, a set of Occ 5 Units will be added to your account automatically, and you will be required to submit your payment via School Pay immediately, or services will NOT be provided.  Also, unused units by June 4th will NOT be carried over to the next school year.  At the end of the school year, all unused Occasional units are forfeited.  

Highly recommended:  Do not overbuy sets of units.  Finally, for all Occ Users, parents MUST send their child's classroom teacher and RN Admin an email at least 1 school day prior to needing the service.  Otherwise, your child will NOT be sent to RN.
